Remove AI Label (Metadata)

See which AI labels a file carries in its metadata – C2PA manifests, “AI-generated” declarations, generator names – and remove them. Everything runs in your browser and the image or video data is copied byte for byte.

Files are processed in your browser and never sent to a server.

Note

This tool removes metadata only. Invisible watermarks inside the pixels (such as Google SynthID or OpenAI’s hidden watermark) remain, so platforms may still detect AI-generated content. AI content depicting real people or real events should still be disclosed under each platform’s rules (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube…).

Your files stay on your device.Private by design — this tool processes files locally in your browser.

02

Why use this tool?

No quality loss

Only metadata blocks are removed. Image data is not re-encoded, and the result is compared pixel by pixel with the original.

Private

The file never leaves your device: reading and stripping happen in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Will Facebook or Instagram still show “AI info”?

Those labels are usually triggered by C2PA or IPTC metadata, which this tool removes. Platforms may also detect invisible pixel watermarks (such as Google SynthID) or use their own classifiers, which metadata removal does not change.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The file is processed in your browser and is not sent to QuickFileKit servers.

Should I still disclose AI content?

Yes, where required. Realistic AI content showing real people or events should be labelled according to the platform’s rules and local law.
